and growth studies.

IF YOU CATCH A TAGGED SHARK

  1. Measure the fork length.

  2. Remove a 6 to 10 inch piece of backbone from over the gills.

  3. Freeze the backbone.

  4. Record the tag number and recapture details (species, date, location-latitude and longitude or loran, fork length, sex, method of capture).
